Sharie Ryon (Director)
Sharie Ryon, is a Registered Massage Therapist who has been teaching yoga for more than 12 years. Sharie initially began studying with P.Dewar, who inspired her to pursue yoga as a way to fulfill her desire to help others learn to live fully and happily in their own bodies. “I like the whole body connection, working with the body, mind and spirit,” Sharie explains.
Sharie’s first teaching certification came under the auspices of The Yoga Centre Winnipeg’s Teacher Training Program, when she earned her 200-hour certification in 2003 at Yoga Central in Saskatoon, under the guidance of Hart Lazer, Jan Debenham and P. Dewar. Since then, Sharie has also completed the three-year Yoga Central Advanced Studies Certification program. Sharie is a registered yoga teacher (E-RYT-200) with Yoga Alliance.
Sharie has also studied a broad range of energy-based therapy programs, including Critical Alignment Certification with Gert Van Leeuwen, Cranial-sacral Levels One and Two, Somato Emotional Release Level One, and Body Talk Modules One and Two.
Sharie continues to develop her understanding of yoga through classes and courses with internationally respected instructors Donald Moyer, Mary Lou Weprin, Father Joe Pereira, Gay White, Lynne Minton and P.Dewar. Sharie is grateful for the guidance of these teachers.
Sharie’s philosophical and spiritual commitment to yoga is evident in her caring and insightful attention to each and every student. She believes in the transformative power of yoga and is a lifelong student of the body.
“There are no perfect poses,” Sharie maintains. “You work with the individual’s abilities and challenges.”

Susan Gingell
Susan Gingell has been studying yoga in an Iyengar-based tradition for more than 15 years, mostly with P. Dewar and more recently with Sharie Ryon. When yoga helped Susan get through a series of life crises while holding down a demanding job, she decided she wanted to share how effectively yoga can work as a way to relieve stress, overcome insomnia, and restore an over-all sense of well being.
Susan completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program under the direction of Mary Lou Weprin, E-RYT, of the Yoga Room Berkeley in Berkeley, California, and Patricia Dewar, E-RYT, founder of Yoga Central in Saskatchewan. She has also benefited from a number of workshops with Lynne Minton, Gay White, and Father Joe Pereira. Susan’s practice was further strengthened through a year of classes with Marlene Miller in Victoria, followed by a year of classes with Dennis Newhook in Calgary. Dennis introduced her to chant as a powerful part of yoga, and she often concludes her classes with a chant because she has found students are able to deepen their relaxation when class ends in this way.
Susan is a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching since 2006. She now leads intermediate preparation classes as well as all levels of beginners.

Sabrina Kehoe
Sabrina knew she was hooked after taking her very first yoga class. She immediately felt taller and left the class wanting more. The sense of joy and lightness she experienced in that very first class has sustained her practice, and she incorporates these principles in her teaching.
Sabrina feels very fortunate and thankful to have practiced and trained with an amazing group of colleagues and teachers, and under their guidance, received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance and Yoga Central Advanced Studies Certificates. She teaches Iyengar-based yoga and firmly believes that yoga is available to everyone through the exploration of the relationship between the mind and the body as it is guided by the breath..

Tonya Wirchenko
“I love to share the gifts of yoga with others, as my personal practice of yoga has been so essential to my own health and well-being,” Tonya says. Tonya has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has taught since 2005. Her training certifications include: Relax and Renew® (Judith Hanson Lasater), Critical Alignment Therapy Level IV (Gert van Leeuwen), and the successful completion of a 200+-hour (Yoga AllianceCertified) teacher training program.
Tonya says the best way to get to know her is to join her for a yoga class! But until then, she’d like to offer you some yoga for your mind: “Only the soft earth absorbs the rain. The practice of yoga is not about becoming more flexible but rather about becoming softer so that you can fully receive life.” — Judith Hanson Lasater.
